These mailers are very protective. I do a lot of shipping of books and dvds and these are perfect for such an application. They are very secure and padded well. The flap adheres very securely and shows no indication that it would ever come undone in shipping. Thermal labels have no problems sticking to these mailers. Overall they're great!
